Forced To Be Fat

Published September 29, 2009 by Ashley Pariseau

I just found a link on a forum to an article from Marie Claire magazine where young girls in the country of Mauritania are sent to a camp where they are force fed to extreme obesity, because that is what men in Mauritania find attractive. Click for article.

“I beat the girls, or torture them by squeezing a stick between their toes. I isolate them and tell them that thin women are inferior.”

“No, no, it’s for their own good,” she almost shrieks. “How will these poor girls find a husband if they’re bony and revolting?”

This is nuts!

“Natural” Breast Enlargement

Published September 23, 2009 by Ashley Pariseau

I found a link to an article here that announces a new procedure will become available to women to remove fat from unwanted areas and put into their breast to enhance breast size.  Say, if you think your butt or thighs are too big, you could have the fat removed and put into your breasts.

Now I didn’t realize it was exactly a new thing, but anyways I don’t think it’s appropriate for this to be dubbed as “a natural breast enhancement procedure.” That seems a little misleading. Just because it’s coming from another part on your body? If you didn’t grow them yourself to that size, it’s not really natural, is it? Craziness.

New Pets!

Published September 7, 2009 by Ashley Pariseau

Last week, we went to a reptile show in Indy and took home two female baby corn snakes. They are pretty awesome, except one of them isn’t eating. The other one has ate 3 or 4 times since we got them and is already growing quite a bit. I have decided to name them Ivy and Ariel.

Ivy.

She is the smaller one that isn’t eating. Several people have told us that this is kind of normal because she might be stressed out, and also some snakes don’t eat before they shed the first time. We are going to try to feed her again in a couple days.

And this is Ariel.

I never thought that I could get into snakes that much, but they are actually pretty interesting and fun to watch and hold. I like them!
