Permanent Makeup

Published December 13, 2009 by Ashley Pariseau

I’ve been hearing about and reading more about in the past several months about the popularity of micro-pigmentation: Makeup permanently tattooed on the face such as eye liner, eye shadow, and lip liner, and eyebrows. Most popular with women towards middle ages,  this  is done to rid the inconvenience of having to apply makeup every single day.

I can understand why women might want to get this, but I don’t know  why they would get their whole face done this way. What if one day they changed their mind and wanted to go without makeup, or what if they wanted different colors?

What do you think about micro-pigmentation? Would you ever get it?

  • I don’t think I would ever get that. I tend to change my mind a lot.

  • Tattooing naturally spreads and softens and gets blurry with time. Six months and even the neatest permanent makeup job looks fuzzy and blocky and gross. It’s a big, big mistake a lot of women make.

    • It didn’t even know that happened.

      • A lot of people don’t, and that’s why they get big black blobby tattoos that end up just being a splodge, rather than something that will age well.

  • I think women look sexy without makeup. It would be weird for me to wake up to same face with makeup on all the time. It seems like a vain procedure to go through. By the way, Ash, cool website!

    • Jordan!!!! Thanks for visiting!

  • That is stupid because as your age, your skin shifts and if you got eyeliner, the lines of the liner don’t line up with your eyes. I’ve actually seen it happen before.

    • Wow that would suck!
